Solution 3%
Oscosol is a 3% w/v solution of acetic acid which is used as a diagnostic adjunct in urogenital endoscopic investigations.
Oscosol is used to aid visual inspection during endoscopy procedures including colposcopy, vulvoscopy and anoscopy.
During each procedure the tissue is washed with Oscosol which removes any mucous and helps to identify any abnormal cells by staining them white, thereby differentiating them from the normal pink-coloured cells.
The product is intended for use by Healthcare Professionals in the Hospital setting only.
